A Christmas present for your boyfriend

Hello and welcome:

Today let's talk about getting a Christmas present for your boyfriend. Now I'm sure you've thought about all the usual stuff like; what’s he like, or what does he want, or you may have even just come right out and asked him what he wants. You probably have an idea of how much you intend to spend, and you may know where to look for it. But before you go and buy it, I'll bet there are a few things you haven't considered.

For instance have you considered where and when he'll be using this awesome gift? If he's a gamer and you're not, the latest video game just took him away from you for probably days at a time! And do you really want to sit on a hard bench for hours at a time during a whole sports season?

You may want to reconsider that cool remote car that he'll enjoy hitting you in the ankles with! Instead, maybe something you can share together like a morning coffee gift set. Or play it safe and get him something nice to wear.

As I said I'm sure you've kinda set your budget, but have you thought about this? Will your gift be so outrages he'll feel bad because he doesn't have enough money to compete and date you? Or will it just make you look cheap? Better make your best guess as to his income level and price accordingly! And,for crying out loud, don't get something he'll probably get 10 of! Try to think out of the box.

The timing of gifting can be important too! Do you want to give it to him early and enjoy watching him anticipate the big day? Are do you want him to wonder if you even got him a gift up to the last moment? If you give it too early he may figure out what it is, yet wait too long and he may just get you a card instead of a gift!

These are just a few things to think about. There are many more considerations, but you can't cover them all. The important thing is to have fun and remember what the holidays are really all about. Happy shopping!
